High School Programs
The High School meets on Wednesday nights and
Sunday mornings in room
C-109 from 10:30-11:45am. Additional activities
are scheduled to provide full, well-rounded involvement.
Young people are
encouraged
to establish meaningful relationships within the group, to make
Biblical truth and principles their own, and to see how God
can
meet their needs in a changing world. These ministries are under
the direction of Greg Stiles, Youth Pastor.

Go
therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father
and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all
that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the
end of the age. (Matthew
28:19-20)
These verses signify the heartbeat of the high school group.
I believe that high schoolers have the ability to change the
world. They have the ability, the knowledge, the giftedness and
capability to make a difference right where they are. This
is our hope and goal.
We have a leadership team composed of students that plan the
majority of our Sunday night activities and the big trips we
do. There are also five adults that work alongside me to hang
out with youth and help guide them in life with Biblical guidance.
We have a midweek Bible study that begins at 6:45pm and runs
until 8:45pm. Our hope is to lead students to the heart of God
through fellowship, prayer, music, and study in a safe, nonthreatening
environment. Sunday mornings we meet in C-109 from 10:30-11:45am.
These mornings sometimes I teach, but mainly it will be a high
school student leading. Also, we have small groups where students
can have accountability and a deeper study of God's word.
Some of our activities are Sunday Night Life, Wintercamp,
backpacking, small groups, missions
trip to Ensenada, Mexico, and a
beach weekend.
I have been in ministry to youth since 1993. I started as a junior
high volunteer and shortly thereafter was leading the junior
high group. After a year and a half, I went to Simpson college
where I met my lovely wife who was studying to go into missions.
During the summers I came back to work with the junior high and
then in 1997 was hired on as the junior high director. In 2001,
the Senior High pastor followed God to Canada and Bethany hired
me as the high school pastor. Since then my wife and
I have become the parents of a three beautiful little girls.
May God bless you.
