Passed into the Lord's presence Sunday morning October 3. A memorial service was held at Bethany Bible Fellowship on Monday October 11.

Harvest Celebration
October 31. Bethany's alternative to traditional Halloween drew more than 2000 people this year. As always, it featured candy, game booths, jumping houses, prizes, a food court, and Noah's Ark. More than 350 children and adults went through the Ark with 63 children and 6 adult decisions for Christ.

Operation Christmas Child

November 22. There were 323 Christmas boxes delivered to the collection center! Thank you.

The Sojourner's Class worked in the warehouse in Santa Ana the evening of December 4, helping process the Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.

Focus Productions
November 14-18. Dan & Debbie Huntting & their son Mike of Focus Productions spent the week at Bethany catching us in action and taping interviews. They will be assembling a DVD telling about our ministry for distribution to families in local communities. Click here to see more.
 

Praise Guitar Workshop

On Oct. 22 and 23 Bethany hosted the Praise Guitar Workshop. Twenty four guitarists came together to learn from one of the best, John Standefer. John’s is the 2002 National and 2004 International Fingerstyle Champion guitarist. Eight hours of instruction from music theory to various picking styles were taught. It is John’s passion to equip the Christian guitarist with tools to enhance his ability and in return the guitarist will be able to give to God his best.
Oct. 24. John Standefer, 2002 National Fingerstyle Guitar Champion, gave a workshop for 24 guitarists over the weekend and gave a well-attended concert Sunday night.

Bob Bennett Concert
November 28. "If you tell Bob Bennett his songs don't sound much like Christian music, you're likely to invoke a smile..."
December 19. Exhaltation adds to the Christmas sounds in the morning services.
