Zapotec New Testament Dedicated
January 3 - Oaxaca, Mexico. The Zapotec translation of the New Testament was dedicated early this month in Oaxaca, Mexico. Click here to see more images from the dedication.

This is a significant milestone for Dave and Sylvia Riggs, members of Wycliffe working in Mexico, who have been working on the Zapotec language for more than 20 years.

Ground Breaking
Sunday, March 2. Past and present deacons, as well as representatives from Faith Bible Church, with whom Bethany merged in 1992, took part in the groundbreaking for our new multi-purpose building. To view more images of the celebration click here.

Awana Sunday
January 12 was Awana Sunday. Children from Bethany Bible Fellowship Awana Clubs came to church in uniform Sunday morning and demonstrated what they are learning. Awana is a Bible-based club teaching children the gospel of Jesus Christ. Children in Kindergarten through sixth grade earn awards and merit badges by memorizing Scripture, through service work and activities. Awana meets every Wednesday evening at 6:45 at Bethany.

March 22. Children watch their gravity powered vehicles as they speed down the track toward the finish line at the Awana Grand Prix. Eighteen cars were entered in the competition and everyone went home with at least one trophy. Click here to see more pictures.
